Shri Veera Anjaneya Temple

Sri Vyasarajaru has consecrated many idols of Anjaneya throughout India. The first among them is the Yantrodharaka Anjaneya at Chakrateertha near Hampi. One such pratishthapana was done about 500 years ago just at the entrance of Satya Vijaya Nagaram. However, due to years of neglect the temple walls had crumbled.

It was in 2007, when the current mathadhikari took up the responsibility of renovating the temple. Bhoomi pooja was conducted on the auspicious day of Vijayadashami followed by Pavamana homas in five yagya kundala by pandits.

On the 1st of February, 2009, the current pontiff of Sri Uttaradi math, Sri Sri 1008 Sri Satyatma Teertharu, performed the Kumbabhisheka at the temple. Phalapanchamrata abhisheka was then done in full grandeur.

The renovated temple now beholds a new look. Vayu avataratraya adorn the entrance of the temple.

Utsava moortis of Shri Rama devaru, Sita devi, Laxmana devaru and Mukhyaprana are kept inside the temple.
